Marko Sandalj grew up the son of a blacksmith while spending the first sixteen years of his life on the slopes of his native village of Radosavska near Banja Luka. At the young age of sixteen, Marko ventured out alone to Canada with the thought of becoming a millionaire. Without his parents and friends to help and guide him; he began a life of endless sin. But Marko persevered and when he moved to Kitchener, Ontario his self absorbed childhood dream of making himself into a millionaire came true. Driving sports cars such as Ferrari, Porsche, and Lamborghini; Marko had achieved what many would consider a dream. He owned an export Company, a car dealership, retirement homes and other businesses with his success. With the arrival of the success in both his life and business Marko had come to realize that this still left a gaping whole that was not being filled. With the disappointment of the newly gained success he started on a new quest; a quest for a sense of meaning vs. a quest for success. This journey would bring Marko to a breaking point in 1992 as he would experience for the first time a personal intimate relationship with God.
“You see,” says Marko speaking from personal experience, “When you chase after wealth you will find that you can never have enough, however with that said, when your desire comes from a heart that has been broken, you find that you can never get enough of God. I didn’t meet God through religious traditions, customs and knowledge, but rather though the personal relationship that I found only through spending time reading God’s Word (the Scriptures).”


With the love he receives daily from his heavenly father and the reconciliation he could find in none other than God himself, Marko became a Friend of God.
Today Marko lives with a burning desire in his heart that other people may know the joy of fellowship and friendship with God; to experience God's love, mercy and forgiveness of sin is possible and free to all through Jesus Christ, the Son of God our Savior.
